Stud Service Available
We have a number of dogs available for stud service.
- Labrador Retrievers
- Brittany Spaniels
- English Setters
- German Shorthair Pointers
- English Pointers and
- Wirehair Pointing Griffons.
All have excellent pedigrees and come from a line of proven hunters.
Our dogs are in good health and are current on all vaccinations.
We require that your female is over the age of 2 and is also in good health and current on all vaccinations.
We required that they have had the following...
- DHLPP - Vaccination is good for 1 year.
- Rabies - First vaccination is good for 1 year. Second Rabies vaccination & following is good for 3 years
- Bortadella (Kennel Cough) – Vaccination is good for 6-12 months depending on the product your veterinarian uses. Please check with your veterinarian to be sure.
- Your dog should also have a good flat collar (3/4” to 1” wide) with a belt-buckle type buckle. (The plastic snap apart collars are not acceptable. Also, we cannot be responsible for lost, broken, or missing collars, tags, toys, bedding, etc. so you might want to keep your tags at home).
Our Stud service fee is $800 or pick of the litter. You only pay for the stud service if she whelps 2 or more pups, at that time we will provide you with the AKC or American field paperwork to register your litter.
We would like you to drop her off about 5-6 days into her heat cycle and prepare to leave her for 7 to 10 days or until there is 3 confirmed breedings whichever comes first. We charge a reduced rate of $10 a day for feeding and boarding during her stay, any days past the required time for breeding will be charged at our regular rate of $22 per day.
