Lease a dog program:
Our lease a dog program has been set up for those hunters who are unable to own their own bird dog, or are not able to hunt their own dog for some certain reason.(Veterinary reasons, heat cycle, or pregnant, etc.) Some people also like the lease a dog program for a group get together or family hunt, or to compliment their own bird dog. For whatever reason you may need, Olive Hill Kennels offers our Lease a dog program to any person looking to work behind a fully trained Brittany, German Short hair, English Setter, English Pointer, or Labrador Retriever for a pre determined amount of time.
WEEKEND LEASE: This set up is to allow someone to pick up a hunting dog on a Friday morning and return the dog Sunday afternoon $120.00 (3 days total)$40.00 per day
WEEK LONG LEASE: Excellent way to schedule a specific week long getaway for an upland game or waterfowl hunt out of state or just down the road. $175.00 (7days total)$25.00 per day
MONTH LONG LEASE: What better way is there to have a fully trained upland game or waterfowl hunting dog at you leisure for 4 weeks, go when and where you want to. When your season is over, we’ll take em back. $500.00 (28 days total)$17.86 per day
SEASON LONG LEASE: Ideal for those people that want a fully trained dog at their fingertips during the upland game and waterfowl season and don’t necessarily want to or are able to keep a dog the rest of the year. $425.00 per month (45 day minimum) $15.18 per day
LEASE TO OWN PROGRAM: Our lease to own program is a way for hunters that lease a dog from Olive Hill Kennels to purchase that dog at the termination of the lease. Thirty (30) percent of the total lease can go to the purchase of the leased dog within fifteen (15) days of the termination of the lease.
